Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania – New details have been obtained about the deadly shooting of a violent rape suspect that occurred today near the old Taco Bell restaurant in Elizabethtown.

U.S. Marshalls tracked the suspect to a wooded area near Market Street where he had allegedly been camping out with a stolen gun that belonged to the rape victim.

According to a witness at the scene, the suspect shot once at U.S. Marshals, and they returned fire 16 times.

Shane Robert Kelec, 38 of the 1700 block of Stone Mill Road, Lancaster was wanted on rape and aggravated assault, and other charges after being accused of a violent rape that occurred in the 900 block of Hedgewyck Lane, Elizabethtown.
